travel europe austria salzburg agustine bier garten

After a full day in the city, we stopped at the Agustiner Brau, a beer garten that is said to have been established in 1621.
The bier garden is located on the far south end of old town and is tucked in against the hillside next to a large parking lot.
We used this parking lot to leave our car for the entire day and it was fairly conveniently located and not too expensive.
The Bier Garten itself is very large and pleasantly situated under the trees.
Lynn and my son, Wyatt, sampled a couple beers while the rest of us utilized the restrooms.
It looked like a pleasant place for locals and visitors to enjoy beer and good company.
Since I am not a beer drinker, and I didn't sample the food, my rating is based on the atmosphere alone.
